The Galicia High Speed Rail Project is an important part of Spain’s high-speed rail network, connecting the capital Madrid with the Galicia Autonomous Region. With a design speed of 350 km/h and a total route length of about 417.5 kilometers, the project greatly shortens the travel time between the two places and promotes the social and economic development of the region.
Main Work Undertaken
Eptisa assisted in the platform control works of OLMEDO-MEDINA-ZAMORA-PUEBLA DE sanabri-LUBIáN-OURENSE of PORTOCAMBA-crdedelos section of Madrid-Galicia high-speed line. Service for load testing and bridge inspection of the OURENSE-SILLEDA (carbeiro) section of the Madrid-Galicia high-speed line.
Achievements
The project of the Spanish railway operator ADIF (high-speed channel to Galicia), which Eptisa participated in, was named the best civil engineering project in Galicia 2020-2021 in the 12th San Telmo Awards awarded by the Galicia Civil Engineers Association.
